DISCRIPTION IN A NUT SHELL::::::::::::: For your consideration Im selling a good looking xxxx Ford, 4 door, Customline. Past owner gave me a folder with lots of receipts, they show that most of the work on the car was done in xxxx. This does include a receipt for a paint job costing $5,268, it was done 7-12-11 and done in Crossville, Tennessee. Decent paint, past owner did not like the dull original green so he had a brighter green applied. The bumpers and grill look nice, probally done in xxxx, but I have no receipt. The side stainless must be new, it is nice, I see a receipt for new door handles and the emblems are nice. The grill extenstions are painted, the trunk bezel dull. The look to have been replaced, the windshield looks like new, the sided windows have limination bubbles around the edges. The engine runs good, it looks like the original 239 Y block to me, they are solid lifters. The 3 speed manual transmission is good and the 3 on the tree shifts nice. The steering gear has lots of wear, read more under steering below. The drum brakes are OK, but they are drums. The 5 wide white wall tires are bias belted and good with no cracking, they bump hard until warmed up. The fender shirts are in the trunk and will not fit with the full moon hubcaps on the car, they rub. This is not a perfect 100 point show car, its just a good looking driver.
