"This is not a rust bucket"! The frame and body are solid. I NOT SHOW CARS ON SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I work 6 days a weed and need a day to worship, spend time with family and rest my body and mind. I do answer my emails 2 or 3 times, I usually dont answer my cell phone. Life is more than just old cars! THIS IS NOT A SUGAR COATED DESRIPTION: Its more like a mechanics inspection. This is the way I see it, I welcome you to come judge for yourself. I list cars for 21 days, no auction, my buy now price is good and fair, I have sold every car I have every put on the market. Im not motivated to sell you traders this car at a low ball price. I do sell lots of cars to dealers, because they can make money on them. PLEASE HERE THIS: Play smart, come inspect, call and ask questions. If a seller is not willing to talk to you or let you come inspect "beware". All inspections have to be made before the listing ends, this is not an auction, its advertisement. Dont hit the buy now button, by ebay rules you buy the car if you do that. DO I HAVE TO BUY THROUGH EBAY MOTORS? No, most guys I sell to are not registered through ebay. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? Im a 66 year old retired mechanic/classic car restorer/auto mechanics intructor, when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The paint would be considered very nice, car has had 1 repaint. The paint has a good shine, no rust bubbles, no dents or dings and the car is straight to look down the sides. Some tiny chips that have been touched up and some specs "you have to look for them", the paint is nice and looks real good, but it not a $25,000 paint job, its just a very nice quality, not a roll out of the trailer show queen. CHROME AND BRIGHTWORK: Over all the chrome would be considered nice, the window stainless steel and other stainless are very good, the front bumper and grill look good, the rear bumper has several pits and some dull places, the tail light bezel are pitted. INTERIOR: No bad smells, the interior is mostly original and pretty nice. The seat covers are good, the drivers seat inserts have been replaced and look good, but are a little different material upon a close inspection, the head liner very good, the door panels good, the carpet good with light wear, the arm rest both have a crack in them (see the picture). Its really a decent interior, you have to look for a problem. GLASS: Good clear glass, the windows roll up and down OK, the windshield looks new, windows are not power. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running 390 cubic inch, it starts good with a few pumps of the accelerator, it runs smooth, it has no unwanted rattles or knocks, it has good compression, it does not leak bad, but will leave some drops when parked, "old cars are just that way". EXHAUST SYSTEM: The exhaust is in good used condition, the muffler is new. TRANSMISSION: Automatic transmission that shifts good. REAR-END: Its good with no whines or growels, its a 9 inch/ BRAKES: Good for drums, they are drums all around and power assisted. The parking brake works. STEERING: Good, the car drives good to me, it is power steering and has that old big car float. WHEELS AND TIRES: Original wheels with very nice original hubcaps, the tires are good, but bias-belted like came on the car. Bias tires get out of round when they set and you have to drive a couple of miles to get them round again, its just old car technology. LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, brake lights work, interior lights work. GUAGES: They work, the gas gauge and speedometer work. Biggest problems with the car: The rear bumper is pitted and has some dull spots, the clock does not work, the drives seat has been redone. BEST THING ABOUT THE C
