I APOLOGIZE UP FRONT !!!!!!!!!!! My listing is long and very direct, if I dont do it this way I spend all day talking to guys on the telephone and answering emails. Im a old retired auto mechanics instructor and was a Army helicopter mechanic/crew member/instructor in the late xxxxs. I am doing this because I love it and I love dealing with people, but its hard to get any work done if Im on the phone all day. I do not answer the phone if Im doing business with people, I do not answer when Im driving, "dont you think it rude for someone to answer the phone if you dealing with someone". PLEASE LEAVE A VOICE MAIL! TITLE: Clear title in hand that matches the VIN numbers on the car. HISTORY: I dont have any history on this car, I bought it from a friend near Cincinnati, Ohio. UP FRONT TIME SAVER: This is a good looking car, its a good running, good driving car, it stops good. It is not perfect, its drive and enjoy quality and it priced that way. Beware of pictures, my car looks like a near perfect car in pictures. It is not perfect, it is nice, you will find little flaws in the paint if you look for them, but the paint is very presentable, infact it is super nice for a car in this price range. The convertible top looks new, the windshield has wiper marks, the windows roll up and down good, but like most old convertibles they dont fit the top good. This is a nice car to drive and have fun, its no 100 point roll out of the trailer show car. The bottom of the car looks real good no structural rust problems, the body is straight, looks like a little body filler was put at the bottoms of the wheel well, but no problems with cracks or bubbles. "It is a fact of like, your not going to get a perfect show car unless you lay a big pile of money down". I DO NOT SHOW CARS ON SUNDAY AND I MAY BE HARD TO GET ON THE TELEPHONE: I go to Church on Sunday, I spend time with my family, Im getting old (almost 66), I need some rest. I love these old cars, but they are not my life!!!!!!!!!!!! Please call and I will be happy to show cars 6 days a week. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? No structural problems, the floors look real good, the frame good, the mounts good, I think the lips of the rear wheel opening have had some filler added. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? Im a 66 year old retired mechanic/classic car restorer/auto mechanics intructor, when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The car has a goo shine. No rust bubbles, no dents or big dings. This is not a $20,000 paint job, its a drive and enjoy quality, it has a few touched up chips and some minor flaws if you look for them, but it will satisfy most people. If you want perfect, keep looking, if want a good looking car this could be it. CHROME AND BRIGHTWORK: Decent and usable chrome, the front bumper has some dull places, the grill looks nice to me, the bezels and emblems are not new, but dent, the stainless around the window good, the door handles pitted. INTEROR: Good interior, not new, but no real wear, no smells, one small repaired hole low on the drivers seat. CONVERTIBLE TOP: Not new, but good, no holes, no real wear, the plastic back window is clear, it is power operated and goes up good, I do not have a boot cover. GLASS: All the window roll up and down good, the windshield is not milky, but has wiper marks. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running inline 6 cylinder with enough power for cruising and driving on the interstate , I think these were 200 cubic inch, it has no blue smoke, no unwanted noises. Its a good engine! EXHAUST SYSTEM: Good used condition. TRANSMISSION: Its a 3 speed automatic that shifts good. C4 is Fords name for it. REAR-END: No whines or growls, not
