I worship on Sunday, I spend time with my family, Im almost 66 years old and need some rest. I love cars and will help you 6 days a week, but not on Sunday. Im a retired auto mechanics instructor and was a helicopter mechanic and instructor in the Army in the late 60s.VIN 2W87K9nxxxx08 HISTORY: I cant tell you a thing other than it was owned by a man near Cincinnati, Ohio. TITLE: Clear title in hand with a VIN that matches, I am a mechanic, but I have dealers license to keep things legal, title will be transferred from me as a dealer. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? The frame, the floors, the trunk all look good, no rust bubbles in the paint. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? Im a classic car restorer, but when I find a vehicle I like and can sell for a fair market price, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The paint has a brilliant shine, no dents, no dings, the car is reasonably straight to look down the sides, I see a couple of places that have been touched up, they are had to see, but I can see them is bright light, they are small and near the rear wheel well. I also see 2 or 3 little dimple size spots, the size of the end of my little finger, they are hard to see and not dings, Im giving you a picky paint job inspection, the paint would be consider real nice. CHROME: Not much chrome, but its good, the door handles outside look good. DECALS: The decal look good, the hood bird looks real good. INTEROR: The interior has no bad smells, it is not new, but good with no real wear, the dash has some cracks and the console storage lid is loose on one edge, the door panels are good (but the narrow chrome on them is dull in some places), the headliner is very nice. UNSERSIDE: Nice, but not show deatailed and not covered up with thick under-coating. No rust issues that I see that will cause any problems. GLASS: The side windows go up and down good, they are electric, the windshield is clear with no chips or bulls eyes, it has one tiny wiper mark less than 1 inch long, the drivers window has some marks where it has rubber the weather stripping over the years. SOUND SYSTEM: The radio is decent, its a AM/FM cassette. AIR CONDITIONIN: Still on the original gas system.ENGINE: The engine runs good, its a 6.6 V8, 403 cubic inch. It runs good, no knocks, no rattles and no blue smoke. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Nice sounding exhaust system, it has the Muscle car sound. TRANSMISSION: Turbo 350 that shifts good with no slip, this is a 3 speed automatic. REAR-END: No whines or growls, it a highway gearing and it is positive traction. BRAKES:Disc brakes on front and drum in the rear, they are power assisted and work good. STEERING: The steering is good, the car is power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES : The honey comb wheels have been redone and look real good, the tires have decent tread left on them. LIGHTS and wiring: The head lights work, the tail lights work, the brake lights work and the turn signals work.Interior light works. THE GAS GAUGE WORKS! SPEEDMETER WORKS! Horn works! Wipers work! .GUAGES: The gauges work, the indash tachometer works, the clock runs, but is slow. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? They open and close good. The door are not famous for closing real good on a Trans Am. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just too hard!
